Note: The word “cursive” as it appears in the standards and mandates is taken to mean “handwriting that is flowing and often connected.” We have chosen to add “[mode]” to emphasize that “cursive” defines a mode of writing, not a style. Cursive Italic therefore complies when “cursive” is a requirement.
